Recent Mozaika projects have very close relation to the Danube river and its operations in the Bulgarian segment. That is why events involving discussions about the Danube are of great relevance for our activities and strategic positioning.
Danube Ports Days 2023, providing a transnational platform to discuss key aspects related to port development issues by bringing together decision-makers and solution providers in the Danube Region was held in ThinkPort Vienna end of November. This year’s event was organised by Pro Danube in cooperation with the Green Inland Ports, MultiRELOAD and Synergetics projects with the support of the Danube Ports Network. It was very valuable to learn about how practitioners approach sustainability, climate change adaptation and achieving climate zero ports by 2050, as well as about digitalization, digital twins, multimodal transport and more through European funding. This allowed us to explore the relationship between river dynamics and fairway prediction, the methods and solutions Mozaika has been developing, with the topics of concern for the Danube ports and inland river networks throughout Europe. There is a potential of interesthing synergies.
