Mozaika participated in and contributed to the UN World Space Forum 2023. The forum tackled important topics about the value of space for earth matters being often not properly understood and communicated to politicians, decision makers and the public. That is why special attention has been placed on how to talk about space and the stories that might bring it closer to our everyday lives by showing its presences in our daily activities, and its role in shaping our future and preserving the planet for our common good. Highlight of the three day conference was the setting the scene to the Summit of the Future to be held in 2024 by discussing points of relevance for the future as seen by different countries and experts.
We have been present with a poster showing how the earth observation data can be put into intelligent web-base workflow and used to achieve sustainable impact and helping reach the SDG 2030 goal 6 by providing capabilities for planning and decision making via long-term forcasting, disaster management via advanced warning, efficient daily operations of water resources for monitoring and exploitation of dams and rivers.
