DestinE Empowering Urban Resilience Against Climate Challenges webinar took place on 9th July 2024. Members of the UrbanSquare consortium, that includes Mozaika, explained challenges and solutions that are being developed as part of the project and plans to scale up and move towards an operational service. Mozaika presented the challenges and needs of municipalities to cope with ever increasing flood events and the solution designed and developed within UrbanSquare project allowing for better planning and response of such situations by sending warnings for more than a month in advance of the event occurrence and displaying the flood extent along with the flooded areas – cities, infrastructure, cultivated land and estimating of the prospected damages and resources needed for their recovery.
