Dr Mariana Damova, the CEO of Mozaika held a keynote talk at the first day of the Lambda Summer School on Big Data Analytics, organized within the LAMBDA twinning project between Institute Mihajlo Pupin, Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems, Germany, Institute for Computer Science – University of Bonn, Germany, Department of Computer Science – University of Oxford, UK and held online on June 16 and 17, 2020. The topic of the talk was: Semantic Information Infrastructures: from business information delivery to water management. It pointed out the variety of use cases and applications of semantic web technologies, and showcased examples of realizations of Mozaika in several domains, emphasizing the ease of transfering the developed solutions from one domain to the other. The project ISME-HYDRO-BG integrating domain knowledge about water management and dam monitoring, in-situ measurements of water economic data, geospatial data, satellite data and GIS and implementing a distributed software architecture drew the most of the attention. We look forward to new opportunities for business and partnerships.
